SATCHEL BAG | HANDBAG | SLING BAG | HANDMADE | HANDMADE BAG | THE STONECROP SATCHEL

Blue Calla Sewing Patterns just released a new pattern, it’s a satchel type, named The Stonecrop Organizer Satchel Bag.

The Stonecrop Satchel has a rectangular shape, medium size, two top carry handles, and a crossbody strap. With this size, this bag can be your everyday handbag, the perfect bag to go to work too. It can perfectly fit all the basics you need to survive the day, plus your gadgets too.

This Stonecrop pattern has many features. One of them, For the front pocket, has two options, an organizer pocket or a simple pocket with closure. My tester version of The Stonecrop Satchel was done with a simple pocket with closure used Tula Pink fabric and linen.

On the other exterior part has a zippered pocket. Inside the bag are two slip pockets and one zippered pocket.

SEWING EXPERIENCE: This bag with a regular pocket with flap closure would be considered intermediate however the version with the organizer pocket would be considered advanced as it requires precision with seam allowances to ensure a proper fit.
