BOWLER BAG | HANDBAG | HANDMADE BAG | VEKZA BOWLER BAG

The bowler bag has a classic style, and it will yet beautiful with a modern touch. The new pattern that was just released by Country Cow Designs is one of them, it called Vekza Bowler Bag.

The Vekza Bowler Bag

I had the pleasure to be one of the testers of this bag, thank you so much Jo, to count me in your tester group! I am honored! Please feel free to go over and see the Country Cow Designs patterns, click here for links with the website.

This Vekza Bowler Bag is a medium size bag that has two handles to carry. I made the handles shorter than the pattern said, but mine is still long enough to slip over the forearm up until the elbow. I chose the flat one, but the pattern gave an option to make it flat or rolled. You need to check it out for these options 😉

This Vekza really has a sturdy look, rigid, good structure, and beautiful looking too. No birthing method for the final touch. This bag used a binding method to finish the bag. Just love the final result! Yes binding sometimes sounds scary but just think about the final result then it will be fine, and enjoy the process. Rather than using a sewing machine, I used a hand stitch to finish the binding, because I am not getting used to it yet.

This Vekza has a curvy pocket on the front part of the exterior, which makes it easy to put in and out the things that we need fast access. To do this curvy pocket just need the patience to get a nice and smooth curve. The interior has slip pockets and a zipper pocket. And don’t forget the interior has a roomy space enough to put many things 😉 Just nice!

[From the designer] Overall the pattern isn’t too complex, you just need to take your time and follow the tips to getting a great curve on that front zip pocket – that’s what makes in an intermediate pattern.

Finished size: 9″ tall x 12 1/2″ wide x 4″ deep.

Skill level: Intermediate
